4th of July

Jared's Uncle Mark & Aunt Barb have a cabin on Lake Summit in Washington and growing up it was the family's favorite weekend place to be during the summer. I was first introduced to it in the summer of 2002 or 2003. I loved it! When we lived in Portland it was easy for Jared and I to go visit. But, since being married & now having the kids visits to the Cabin have been few & far between. This weekend I decided to go up with Gretchen and take the boys sans Jared. It was great! Hunter had so much fun down on the dock playing on the aquaport and seeing all the extended family. It was Logan's first 4th & first trip up and he seemed to love all the action. We took Kadence up with us which made for an interesting car ride with the 3 kids across the back. But we got there with our sanity in check and the weather was absolutely beautiful! It was great to see Kim & John, who are expecting their first son this fall. John & Mark have a wakeboarding boat that is one of the highlights of being up there. Hunter went out on the boat and loved it. A big thanks to our hosts Mark, Barb, Andrea, John & Kim and the rest of the Cabin Friends!!
