Odds & Ends

So as part of my New Year's resolution to be more "green" I recently ordered some reusable bags to use at the grocery store, farmers market and what not. I am completely aware of how much excess waste American's produce; especially when it comes to plastic bags they sit forever in landfills never really breaking down. Well, I found it a bit ironic when my bag arrived in the mail today. You be the judge, is this an excess of wrap for one little bag? Doesn't this sort of defeat the purpose? :)

Logan & Hunter spent some time this evening with their Great-Grandma Max. She and G-Grandpa Paul have been a huge help with the boys & with getting the new house ready.
THANK YOU!

Logan's hair was its usual dishevled self when I dropped him off but when I picked him up she had it styled like it's never been before and it was adorable. I call it, ocean spray wave.

Judging by his look, I think he's unsure if he likes it or not. But I have decided it will look like this again, because it's just too cute.

Last but not least, the piece d'resistance.... drum roll please... The trim is finished and the living & dining room are ready for us to move furniture in!!! Here's a picture to refresh your memory of what we started with.

And today.... GORGEOUS! We can't wait to move our stuff in and make it our home.

  2. Can I just say that the reusable, non-breakable bag comes in enough packaging material to keep bottles from breaking! That to me is pretty much hilarious and it does pretty much defeat the purpose.

Logan is ADORABLE! I can't wait to come over help, hang out with the boys and see the new place.
