4th of July
We originally had planned on spending this day with our church, celebrating our 6th anniversary at Fort Walla Walla. But, after the previous day's activities and trying to keep the kids contained we were not looking forward to attempting to corral them in another public setting with unfamiliar boundaries. Logan has been teething for the better part of a week and is quite cranky, so we stayed home for the most part. Both Jared & I were able to take naps, and Jared's mom graciously mowed our lawn! Thank you, it needed it! We also harvested a bucket full of fresh picked raspberries from our garden.
That night we headed over to my parent's house to light some fireworks Jared & Hunter bought. The boys loved it and Grady & Logan were mesmerized!
Happy Birthday, America!
Thank You to all the men & women
who have governed & fought for this great nation
to allow us to continue in the freedom & liberty's that it offers.
While the storm clouds gather far across the sea,
Let us swear allegiance to a land that's free,
Let us all be grateful for a land so fair,
As we raise our voices in a solemn prayer.

Stand beside her, and guide her
Through the night with a light from above.
From the mountains, to the prairies,
To the oceans, white with foam
